You know it’s been a good week, when you have little to no photos to show for it. This week was overflowing with juicy goodness, and our upcoming departure infused otherwise ordinary moments with the sweetest mix of gratitude and nostalgia for moments that haven’t yet come to pass.
The word Saudade in the Portuguese language encompasses this sense of bittersweet longing that has marked each passing day. Sometimes referred to “the love that remains”, I feel it most clearly in the ache of starting over, and in the immense gratitude for all of the people, moments and memories that have made this city home for the past 10 years.

Violet finally getting some of her personality back after a long week of “doggy bed rest” (while I’ve been suffering through the smell of one too many collagen sticks)
Finally getting to try the Hot Girl Pickles that have been all over my Instagram for the past few months. (Turmeric added a little je ne sais quoi to the otherwise Classic Dill flavor and the bite sized pickles had the perfect crunch). In Good Spirits never misses with their product selection!
An empty yoga studio free to blast my own music & flow through all the feels (a moment for the natural light!)
Please take another moment to revel in the magic that is our great big beautiful sun. Just look at how it turns something as ordinary as dried up ragweed into this shimmery magical goodness.

Lots of really wonderful quality time spent with family before we hit the road
The silliest girls dinner that was both extremely good for the soul and also extremely depressing because man, am I going to miss them 😢
